I am in love with Giniffer Goodwin's short hair. I first noticed her as an actress when watching "Something Borrowed" where she had longer locks and cute bangs. I never would have guessed to see her next with an edgy and very sleek pixie. With her hair cut shorter, it showcases more of her amazing features and draws attention to her very expressive eyes.
In an article I found recently, Ginnifer states that she prefers to wear wigs, since she sees hair as being "expressive". She now has a wig clause written into each of her contracts so that she doesn't have to worry about growing out a hairstyle she doesn't prefer.
Choosing to stay with more of a feminine touch, the cut still has some length on top, which allows for curling and backcombing. I prefer to see a bit of fullness on top so that a short cut doesn't become too masculine, even if the face shape and features are petite.
With many women opting to stay with very long hair, I admire those who take a risk and do something very different. In Hollywood, those are the styles that will stand out to stylist.
